Blog #1 - Write a paragraph explaining your expectations for what you hope to learn in the CPT course.I think I will learn some basic and simple video and audio editing skills aswell as how to use a couple of video editors. Maybe I can learn some new things or just get better at what I can already do. Video editing is one of the things that involves computers that I don't know almost everything about so this class should be interesting. I would encourage people to voice their ideas and to share openly with the group. I would also try to brainstorm a page of thoughts and ideas before we started and would encourage the others to aswell. I would try to give moral support to people who think their ideas are silly or something of the sort. Consider the silent film era in relation to movies today. What is your opinion? Were silent movies as or more effective? Why or why not? Explain your answer in detail (minimum 5 sentences).I like silent movies because no matter what they always seem to be comedy so there's no genres. However I find that movies today are very effective at conveying emotion and feeling to the viewer in a way no silent movie could. But in different ways they're both equally effective and I like to see how you can actually understand a movie's plot and story without words but rather music and maybe some text on the screen. But I think that neither version of movies is more effective than the other.Blog #5 - What is your favorite radio station and why?Me and my old boss at The Fainting Goat used to listen to australian radio stations because their accents are funny and it was very entertaining. I Also like the wolf 104.9 the regina radio station and some of the others like jack fm. Most of all I like cbc radio 1 and community radio because I like the news and I like a large variety of music from classical to rap.Blog #6 - What is your favorite television show and why? Don't forget to log for the day.I recently watched a show called Sea of Creepy Monsters which was a nature documentary about the large variety of fish in the Lembeh Straight all of which are native to that area and very rare. The reason I liked this show is because I have a very big interest in marine biology so when I saw the name of the show I sort of knew I would like it. However because this isn't a series I would have to say my favourite television series is MTV Live because Paul the intern is a god. I also like the variety of the show it goes from news to a skit and to music.Blog #7 - Using the internet, find a current news article that is of interest to you. Summarize the article and tell me why you chose it.I chose this because the majority of the time if I google news "florida" I get news that is outrageous like serving a sangria to a toddler at an olive garden in florida. However in this story a womans friend named Starquineshia Palmer fatally stabbed and killed her friend who was an A&M basketball player. Palmer is now awaiting trail for murder of the first degree. although this is a sad story I find the name "Starquineshia" hilarious.Blog #8 - If you could take a vacation, hop on an airplane and go anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go and why?
I would go to easter island because I have always wanted to go there. Even when I was much younger. There is just something about all the Moai that drew me there. Althought there are less than 10 000 people and only 2 major towns its the beauty and the sights that made me interested in the place.

Facebook is a social networking site in which you can find your real friends and group them up in 1 place. You can easily talk to anyone of them message them and even arrange large events for groups of friends that are too large for you to do by yourself. you can also talk to other people who are online in real time and use the site to add new people who you either dont know that well or that are strangers and you want to know. It gives you the ability to customize your profile and tell people what kind of movies, music and shows you like.
